This well-respected onshore energy team is led by Philip Sexton, a law graduate and ex-broker, who has been working as an underwriter since 1997. His pragmatic attitude earned him a reputation as a lead underwriter for significant projects worldwide. He is assisted by Jonathan Ashby and Lindsay Wilson. The team’s combined experience and understanding of the oil, gas and process industries play a vital role in the service Torus delivers.
Engineering expertise for the team is provided primarily by Christian Halm, a process safety engineer with an extensive knowledge of the onshore oil, gas & petrochemical industry. The engineering input available at every stage of the insurance transaction is another major benefit for Torus clients.
